Cookie Policy
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file saved in your browser when you visit a site. On this site cookies are used for two purposes: to remember your choice and, only if you allow it, to measure visits and advertising.
Which cookies we use
oikos_onay
- Purpose
- To remember your cookie choice. Its value is only "evet" (yes) or "hayir" (no). Nothing else is stored.
- When it is set
- When you select "Accept" or "Reject" in the banner.
- Duration
- 180 days
- Scope
- oikosbozcaada.com and its subdomains. Our booking site (rezervasyon.oikosbozcaada.com) reads the same choice.
Measurement and advertising cookies
- Purpose
- To measure how the site is used and whether advertising leads to bookings.
- When they run
- Only if you select "Accept". Tags loaded on the site through Google Tag Manager may set these cookies.
- Name, duration, provider
- These depend on the tags in use. For current details, write to info@oikosbozcaada.com.
Hosting provider measurement (Cloudflare)
- Purpose
- Cloudflare, the service that hosts this site, adds a measurement script to measure page performance and the number of visits.
- When it runs
- On every visit. This measurement works independently of your cookie choice, selecting "Reject" does not stop it.
- Details
- How the measurement works is described in Cloudflare's documentation.
If you do not accept
If you select "Reject", or make no choice, Google Tag Manager and the tags it loads do not run, no request is sent to them and no measurement cookie is set. The rest of the site works the same way. Our booking site also does not use measurement cookies unless you have accepted.
How to change or withdraw your choice
- Click the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page or the button below, and the banner opens again.
- If you accepted earlier and then select "Reject", the measurement cookies are deleted and the page reloads.
- You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Your choice is deleted too and the banner appears again.
Personal data and contact
How your personal data is processed is explained in the privacy notice. For questions, write to info@oikosbozcaada.com.
