For the best price guarantee, you can book directly through oikosbozcaada.com. Booking directly rather than through third-party platforms offers both the best rate and the chance to communicate your requests to us directly.

Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM. If there's availability, you can request a late check-out (until 5:00 PM) or an early check-in (after 8:00 AM). The fee for late check-out or early check-in is half the nightly room rate. If you'd like either, just let us know in advance. You can pay the extra at the hotel, there's no need to pay beforehand.

You can host your visitors in the garden. All staying guests must register at reception. For unregistered overnight guests, an extra nightly fee for one person is charged to the registered guest's account. Only guests aged 13 and over may stay in the hotel building.

All our rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a Smart TV (Netflix, Disney+, Prime), a minibar and an in-room safe. Our Duplex and Suite units additionally include a kitchen, refrigerator, electric stove, kettle, coffee and tea maker, and a washing machine.

One extra bed can be used in our Suite and Duplex rooms. The extra bed is free for children aged 12 and under. For guests aged 13 and over a nightly extra bed fee applies. When booking online, just enter the number of guests and the children's ages, the extra bed and its fee are added to the price automatically. For babies aged 0 to 2 we provide a free travel cot. Economy, Standard and Triple Suite rooms cannot take an extra bed.

Room service is not available. However, our kitchen offers paid food and beverage service between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Removing service items to the rooms is not permitted.

Our Suite, Triple and Duplex rooms have an iron and ironing board. Guests staying in Standard and Economy rooms can request an iron from reception. For laundry, you may use the washing machine in the Suite, Triple and Duplex units. We do not offer professional laundry or dry cleaning service.

Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and indoor areas of the apartments. You may smoke on the balcony of our Duplex apartments, provided you use the ashtray.

Oikos Bozcaada is a seasonal hotel. We welcome guests in the summer season and close during the winter months. We closed our 2026 season on 14 September and will open again for the summer 2027 season. Our 2027 rates and opening date will be announced on this site after the new year. Through the winter you can still reach us on WhatsApp or by email.

During the season, current rates and room availability are shown in the booking module on our website, where you can book instantly. We do our best to offer the lowest price directly on our own site.

You can complete your booking through the booking module on our website using your own credit card. Once the booking is complete, a confirmation email is sent to you. During payment you are offered two rate options: refundable and non-refundable.

With the non-refundable rate, the full amount is paid in advance at the time of booking. No refund is made if the reservation is cancelled or not used, except in cases of force majeure. With the refundable rate, 25 percent of the total is taken as a deposit and the balance is paid on arrival.

For refundable bookings, cancellations made 1 day or more before the arrival date are refunded, less any bank charges or commissions. For cancellations made on the arrival day, or if the reservation is not used, the deposit is not refunded.

The booking module on our website does not offer installment payment. For installments, you can book through agencies that have agreements with banks. Agencies we work with include ETS, Jolly, Tatilsepeti, Tatilbudur, Booking.com, Trip.com, Hotels.com, Airbnb and Agoda. Agency prices may be higher or lower depending on the special rate they offer you. That said, if anything unusual arises with a booking, communication through agencies can sometimes be difficult, so we prefer to offer the best price on our own site and guide our guests there.

Bozcaada is reached by a 35 to 45 minute ferry from the Geyikli pier in Çanakkale. Geyikli is about a 4.5-hour drive from Istanbul. Ferry services are operated by GESTAŞ Deniz Ulaşım. We're about 10 to 15 minutes from the centre on foot, depending on your pace. Coming from the ferry with luggage can be tricky, so if you have bags we'd suggest taking a taxi. Without luggage, it's an easy walk. One tip: navigation apps usually show the shortest but steepest route, taking you up stairs and dirt paths, which can be tiring. Use the road meant for cars instead. It's a little longer but far less steep. The roads are safe, and the island is very safe in general. There aren't many stray dogs, and the ones around are gentle, so there's nothing to worry about.

İğdelik Beach is about 200 metres from our hotel. It's run by a separate private business not affiliated with us, and you can use it for a daily fee.

We do not have a private parking lot. However, as our location does not experience heavy traffic, there is ample space to park safely on three sides of the property. The security of your vehicle is your responsibility. Please park without obstructing other vehicles.

Yes, breakfast is included in your stay. It is served in the garden during summer and in the enclosed pavilion during winter, between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

Yes. We put together a selection of our favourite island wines, and there's beer too. We don't serve spirits. You're also welcome to bring your own wine and we'll serve it for you. In that case there's a corkage fee of 500 TL per bottle.

Tap water is not drinkable. Complimentary water is available in the minibar. If you need more water, just get in touch with reception.

We cannot host children under 13 (including babies) in our Standard and Economy rooms. We are glad to welcome them in our Suite and Duplex units. The extra bed is free for children aged 12 and under, and for babies aged 0 to 2 we provide a free travel cot. For guests aged 13 and over a nightly extra bed fee applies.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at our hotel. You may see stray cats in our garden. Please do not feed them or bring them inside.

Bozcaada has a Mediterranean climate. Summers are hot and dry, winters mild and windy. Thanks to the island's breezy nature, humidity is low in summer. As the wind is felt in every season, we recommend bringing a light jacket or windbreaker. Also, since there is only one pharmacy on the island, it's wise to stock up on essentials such as medication before you arrive.
